Symbols are not always identical
Different brokers can use suffixes, prefixes, or alternate names for the same market, especially for gold, indices, and crypto symbols.
Validation before execution
A copier should validate that the connected MT account can trade the parsed symbol before routing an order.
Skipped signals should be visible
If a symbol cannot be matched or is blocked by channel rules, the user should see the skip reason instead of wondering why no trade opened.
Compare the broker instrument, not just its label
A signal name and a broker symbol can differ by suffix or alias. Review the instruments available through the selected broker account and the channel symbol policy. Similar names can represent different contract sizes, tick values or minimum volumes.
Verify after changing a mapping
Save the intended symbol choice and test an eligible demo message. Check the parsed instrument and resulting broker order. If the instrument is unavailable, resolve it with the broker or supported configuration; do not replace it with a merely similar instrument and assume equivalent exposure.
